Christmas Cheeseball Recipe

With just a few days till Christmas, I’m sharing with you my Christmas Tree Cheese Ball. This Christmas Tree Cheeseball just might be the most festive and delicious holiday appetizer recipe!

I wish I could take credit for this scrumptious recipe but one of my colleagues at work, Tina Kiani, was kind enough to share her recipe with me.

I served this cheeseball at my Christmas/birthday party and it was a huge hit.

Ingredients:

Worcestershire Sauce: 1 tablespoon 

Cream Cheese (room temp): 1 cup

Shredded Sharp Cheddar: 1 cup

Blue Cheese (room temp):  3/4 cup

White Onions (dice):  1/4 cup

Parsley (chopped): 1 bunch

Grape Tomatoes: 1 pint

Sliced Almonds

Yellow Bell Pepper: 1

 

Directions: 

  1. Place all the cheeses, onion, and Worcestershire in food processor until you get a smooth consistency.

  2. Roll into a ball and cover with plastic wrap.

  3. Chill for 8 hours.

  4. Create the tree shape using your hands (in a v-shape with palms together) on a clean kitchen counter. Just roll the mixture back and forth and shape as you go.

  5. Once your Christmas Tree Cheese Ball is formed, you’re ready to decorate. I recommend starting with tomatoes, then adding chopped parsley, followed by almonds.

  6. Use a yellow pepper to create the star on top of the tree. If you have a star cookie cutter you can use this that otherwise,  cut out the star with kitchen shears rather than a knife. 

Your Christmas Tree Cheese Ball is now ready to serve. I promise it will be the merriest appetizer on your table!

Serve with crackers!
